Ventisei means twenty-six in Italian.

In the Neapolitan tombola, the number 26 represents “Nanninella,” a symbol of family, protection and tradition.

 

Originally opened in 2019 as Nanninella, the restaurant soon became known as Brighton & Hove’s most traditional Neapolitan pizzeria, dedicated to the craft and simplicity of true pizza.

Inspired by our home at 26 Preston Street, our story now enters a new chapter as Ventisei Pizzeria Napoletana.

long-fermented dough, exceptional ingredients, and a terracotta pizza oven.

Today, our kitchen continues to evolve under the creativity of Head Chef Giovanni Affinito, a true master of dough whose passion for flavour and tradition brings exciting new ideas and recipes to our table.
